Photos of SV Eclipse

The Sailing Vessel Eclipse is a Sweden Yachts C34. Just look at those Teak Decks... How could a woodworker NOT love this boat?

She is 34 Ft long on deck with a beam (width) of 11 Ft, 5 In.
Her waterline length is 28 Ft 8 In. and she Draws 6 Ft of depth in the water.
Sloop rigged, she is a fast and nimble sailor with a very comfortable interior.
I'm looking forward to adding to and improving her already beautiful, Mahogany woodwork.

My old Boat, SV Gulliver, A Westsail 28

I did a fair bit of woodworking both on the interior and on the exterior of the boat and gained a lot of knowledge and experience by doing so. Boat woodworking is a challenge because nothing is ever square... Everything is either a curve or an angle or both at the same time.

As are all Westsail sailboats, she is a heavy and solid craft, capable of open ocean sailing. She might be slow but she will see you through nearly anything safely and in some comfort.
